MDP holds event to mark

Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has held an event last night to mark that the Presidential Election is one hundred days away.

The event included a music show by famous Maldivian artists, and the sale of t-shirts with ‘President Nasheed 2013’ on them, to gain support for MDP Presidential Candidate, former President Mohamed Nasheed.

During the music show, MDP also carried out activities to increase awareness regarding checking the voters’ registry, and provided assistance with registration to people who were eligible to vote but had not been registered.

Campaign activities are under way by political parties in preparation for the Presidential Election in September.
