The preschool in Hulhumale’ run by a private group, Hulhumale Preschool, has been destroyed in a fire incident.

Sun Online’s reporter in Hulhumale’ Murshid Abdul Hakeem said moments ago that the classrooms and the office of the preschool, located near the park, had been completely destroyed.

He said that the fire is now extinguished, but smoke remains to some extent.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Murshid said that the classrooms and office are located in two separate buildings, which leads to the suspicion that the fire was caused on purpose.

A police media official said that the incident was reported at around 5:15 am and that the fire had now been fully controlled and put out. The police also said that the building had burnt beyond use.
