New High Commissioner of Maldives to India presents letter of credence to Indian President

New High Commissioner of Maldives to India Mohamed Naseer has presented his letter of credence to President of India Puranab Mukherjee.

President Mukherjee congratulated the new High Commissioner at the ceremony held at the Presidential Palace this morning.

At the meeting, High Commissioner Naseer discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to further strengthen these ties.

The Maldivian High Commission in India said that High Commissioner Naseer also thanked the President for all the assistance that India had provided to the Maldives in the past and reassured President Mukherjee that relations between the Maldives and India will continue to flourish.
