Two women and a man have been injured in an accident involving two motorcycles in Hithadhoo, Addu City.

He said that her injuries were, however, not serious.
Head of Hithadhoo Regional Hospital Khadeeja Hafsa told Sun Online tonight that Khadeeja Moosa, 37, who was on the backseat of the motorcycle, suffered head injuries in the accident and that efforts were ongoing to take her to Male’.
Khadeeja Hafsa said that the other woman on the motorcycle, Aishath Fareedha, 39, suffered injuries to her arm, while the man on the other motorcycle, Ibrahim Nasr, 20, ended up with an injured knee.
She said that they had both been released from the hospital after treatment.
“The doctor has recommended that the woman who suffered head injuries be taken to Male’. Tests such as a CT scan can only be done in Male’. This was decided because she suffered head injuries,” Khadeeja said.
The police said that the matter was under investigation, and no arrests had been made.
