Shidatha appointed Deputy Minister for Ministry of Gender

President Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik has appointed Shidatha Shareef of Maafaru, Gaafu Dhaalu Thinadhoo, as the Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Gender, Family and Human Rights.

Shidatha Shareef is known for her work in the government parole board, as well as Care Society, a non-governmental organization that works to promote the rights of people with disabilities.
