STO reduces fuel prices

State Trading Organization Plc. (STO) has reduced their diesel and petrol prices today.

The company has reduced 41 Laari from liter of diesel and 43 Laari from liter of petrol, which brings the current prices to MVR 16.08 and MVR 16.37 per liter of diesel and petrol respectively.

The company last reviewed their fuel prices in March, when they had increased 26 Laari from a liter of diesel and 38 Laari from a liter of petrol.

STO said that the current price change was due to the change in world oil prices, and that their last shipment of diesel and petrol has seen a reduction of prices.
