President appoints three Ministers

President Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik has appointed former Attorney General Aishath Azima Shakoor as the Minister of Gender, Family and Human Rights, and Ameen Ibrahim of H. Haali as the Minister of Transport and Communication, and former Deputy Attorney General Aishath Bisam as the new Attorney General.

President's Office has announced that the two Ministers and the Attorney General took their oath of office before the Supreme Court Judge Abdulla Areef, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office this afternoon.
