MIB appoints global speaker Kiruba Shankar as keynote for this year’s Guesthouse Symposium

Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has appointed Kiruba Shankar, an internationally renowned professional speaker and online business strategist, as the honorary keynote speaker at the MIB Guesthouse Symposium.

Having delivered more than 700 speeches in 24 countries, Kiruba has extensive experience in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, online reputation management and business growth. He is also the founder and founding president of the Professional Speakers Association of India.

Kiruba’s speaking style is known for its practical relevance, simplifying complex ideas into clear, actionable insights that resonate with business audiences. His keynote at the symposium will focus on the changes taking place in the guesthouse industry. The session will share fresh perspectives and practical guidance for guesthouse operators to adapt to modern shifts, embrace innovation and expand their businesses in an increasingly digital and competitive environment.

The MIB Guesthouse Symposium will be held on Thursday, October 15, at Barceló Nasandhura. The event will bring together guesthouse owners, operators and industry stakeholders to exchange ideas, build relationships and discuss the future of the guesthouse sector.
