President and First Lady depart on unofficial trip to Singapore

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed have departed on an unofficial visit to Singapore.

According to the President’s Office, they left for Singapore on Saturday night.

President Muizzu’s current visit marks his seventh visit to Singapore since assuming office, six of which have been unofficial trips.

He last visited Singapore on May 24, returning to the Maldives six days later on May 30.

Singapore has been his most frequent travel destination since assuming office.
