iPhone 18 pre-order in Maldives: Starting price at MVR 35,000

Several prominent mobile retailers in the Maldives have officially commenced pre-orders for the iPhone 18 series, the latest flagship smartphone lineup from global technology giant Apple.

Reflecting international trends, the devices have generated considerable anticipation among Maldivian youth and technology enthusiasts.

According to pricing information released by various local retailers, the latest iPhone models are being offered at a significant premium, with starting prices averaging approximately MVR 35,000.

According to most retailers, customers seeking to secure a pre-order are required to pay an upfront deposit of MVR 10,000, with the remaining balance due upon delivery of the device.

As an additional incentive for customers, several retailers are offering exclusive pre-order promotions. These offers include complimentary accessories, such as protective cases and screen protectors, as well as opportunities to win cash prizes.

Despite the premium prices, demand for the latest technological innovations remains strong among Maldivian consumers.

According to official Apple pricing, the iPhone 18 Pro starts at USD 1,199, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max is priced at USD 1,299.

The iPhone Duo, Apple's first foldable smartphone, which was launched alongside the iPhone 18 series, has also attracted significant attention. The premium device is priced at USD 1,999, which is approximately equivalent to MVR 30,000 at base exchange rates.
