Allied Insurance participates in CIF 2026, highlighting supply chain challenges and construction risk protection

Allied Insurance Company has joined the Construction Industry Forum (CIF) 2026 as the official insurance partner.

The forum brought together experts and stakeholders from the construction sector to discuss developments, challenges and emerging opportunities in the industry.

Allied’s Customer Service Manager, Hussain Sawaad, participated as a panel speaker in the session titled “Re-Engineering Supply Chains in an Age of Global Conflict,” where he highlighted the challenges faced by supply chains amid global unrest.

Assistant Manager of Sales, Mariyam Asna, also spoke at the forum, delivering a presentation titled “Safeguard Your Construction Projects.” Her presentation emphasised the importance of effective risk management and obtaining appropriate insurance solutions to protect construction projects against potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Allied said its participation in such forums aims to strengthen collaboration with construction-industry stakeholders and contribute to efforts to build a more resilient and sustainable construction sector in the Maldives.

Established in 1985 as a subsidiary of STO, Allied Insurance is the first and largest insurance service provider in the Maldives. The company provides general insurance for buildings, vehicles, properties and businesses, as well as health insurance and Ayadi Takaful in accordance with Islamic Shariah.
