Dead body found in Kanifushi

A dead body has been found on the beach of Kanifushi, an island near Lhaviyani Naifaru which is being developed as a tourist resort.

A person from the island told Sun Online that the body was found yesterday evening on the beach on the rocky side of the island. He said that it was a woman’s body and that it was heavily decomposed.

He said that the body was handed over to Naifaru Police Station sometime last night.
