Maldives Police Service (MPS)’s Chief Superintendent of Police Fathimath Nashwa has successfully completed the Executive Leaders Program conducted by the College of Policing in the United Kingdom.
The prestigious program is designed to prepare senior police officers for executive leadership roles within law enforcement institutions.
The 19-week program, which commenced on February 26, concluded with its final phase, Module Three, held in the United Kingdom from June 29 to July 10.
According to the Maldives Police Service, the curriculum was designed to build on participants' professional experience while strengthening the skills, competencies, and theoretical knowledge required for senior leadership positions. A total of 62 officers from various countries graduated from this year's program.
The MPS also stated that the program provided participants with the opportunity to evaluate contemporary institutional management practices and identify future strategic opportunities. It further equipped officers with the skills to assess and address challenges in stakeholder engagement while developing strategies to strengthen institutional relationships.
