President Muizzu makes fourth unofficial trip to Singapore; no details shared

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has departed for Singapore on another informal visit.

The President arrived in Singapore on Sunday, according to the President’s Office, which did not disclose further details regarding the trip.

This marks the President’s fifth visit to Singapore since taking office, and his fourth unofficial visit.

President Muizzu last travelled to Singapore on July 31 last year, returning to Maldives on August 5 after a six‑day informal visit.

During his most recent official trip, a four‑day visit from June 29 to July 2, the President met Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and several cabinet ministers, and signed multiple memorandums of understanding across various sectors.
