Police capture suspect who escaped custody in Villingili

Maldives Police Service has successfully apprehended a suspect who escaped from custody in GA. Villingili.

In a media statement, the Police confirmed that the individual, who had been admitted to Gaafu Alifu Atoll Hospital for medical treatment while under police custody, escaped earlier on Friday night.

The Police confirmed that the individual has since been apprehended. 

The incident is under investigation by the Police.
