The Maldives Meteorological Service (MET) has forecast showers across parts of the country on Tuesday and Wednesday.
According to MET, some southern atolls may see rain on Monday, while conditions in the central and northern atolls are expected to remain generally clear.
Rainfall is likely to continue in the central and southern atolls on Tuesday and Wednesday. Winds are expected to range between 10 and 20 mph during the day, and seas are forecast to be moderately rough over the same period.
After mid‑week, conditions are expected to improve, with temperatures rising again. March and April are typically the hottest months of the year, and temperatures remain above 36°C in many parts of the country.
