Naseer appointed as High Commissioner of Maldives to India

President Dr Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik has appointed Mohamed Naseer of M. Funfini as the High Commissioner of Maldives to India.

The presentation of letter of appointment to Naseer was held this afternoon at the President’s Office.

Speaking at the function, President Waheed congratulated High Commissioner Naseer and expressed confidence that Naseer would protect and promote the interest of the people of Maldives, and work to enhance cooperation between the Maldives and India.

Naseer was appointed as High Commissioner of Maldives to India as per article 115 (l) of the constitution.
