Mohamed Nasheed, President of the Maldives Association of Yacht Agents (MAYA), which represents cruise operators in the country, said the ship is set to depart at 18:00pm this evening.
Its arrival comes shortly after a February 14 visit by another cruise ship, 'Queen Anne,' operated by the first cruise liner company to ever call at the Maldives. That vessel brought 2,669 tourists and 1,235 crew members.
The Maldives regularly receives a considerable number of cruise tourists each year. In 2025, the country recorded more than two million tourist arrivals, with most visitors coming from key markets including Russia, China, and the United Kingdom.
