Nigerian Ambassador presents credentials to the President

Nigerian Ambassador to the Maldives Dauda Danladi has presented his credentials to President Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik.

The ceremony was held in the President’s Office this morning. Meeting the Ambassador after the ceremony, President Waheed congratulated Ambassador Danladi on his appointment, and discussed ways to strengthen the relationship between Madlives and Nigeria.

President highlighted the opportunities in Maldives for foreign investors and talked about ways in which the two countries can strengthen relations in areas such as tourism, trade and construction.

Nigeria has an extensive petroleum industry.
