FlyMe operates charity flight to Addu City

FlyMe, operated by Villa Air, has operated a special charity flight to Addu City.

FlyMe said that the money earned from this flight will be donated to children’s shelter Kudakudhinge Hiya.

The charity flight to Addu City today was also the first trip by the 66-seat ATR72-600 aircraft newly acquired by FlyMe. This marks the commencement of the aircraft’s scheduled flights to Addu.

Chairman of Villa Air and Jumhooree Party Leader Gasim Ibrahim and senior officials of Jumhooree Party flew to Addu City on today’s flight. Activities were held at the airport to welcome them.

The aircraft is made up of 12 business class and 54 economy class seats. Compared with other aircraft used domestically in the Maldives, this aircraft has more space between the seat rows. The aircraft is manufactured by an Italian-French company.
