Family Ministry to send SMS notifications for case admissions

The Ministry of Social and Family Development has begun sending SMS notifications upon acceptance of cases to the authority.

The ministry said this new feature aims to improve its overall services to the public, and added it was launched following the feedback those who acquire its services. The feedback mostly centered around not having a real-time communication mechanism that would allow those who acquire the ministry’s services to receive updates about their applications.

According to the ministry, updates about the applications will be sent via SMS to the mobile phone numbers provided on the application forms.

The ministry added that it would continue to improve its services to enhance public satisfaction.
