Two staffers from HA. Atoll councils receive financial aid for technical training

The HA. Atoll has provided financial support to two council workers – one from the atoll council and one from a local council – to undergo technical training at local colleges and universities.

The HA. Atoll Council’s president Moosa Shafeeq signed the financial aid agreement with the two staffers selected for this year’s program in a ceremony held at the atoll council’s conference hall on Sunday morning.

The two staffers selected for this year’s program are:

  • Dheema Hassan, senior council officer at the HA. Atoll Council
  • Ibrahim Suhail, council officer at the Ihavandhoo Council

According to the atoll council, the two workers will receive MVR 37,500 each.

The initiative is part of the HA. Atoll Council’s workplan for this year.

According to the council, the purpose of the program is to assist in the development of staffers of the atoll’s councils, promote their technical capacity and promote leadership.
