Woman burned in Mal

The woman who suffered burns during a barbeque in M. Neyreyna died today, while under treatment for the injuries in Switzerland. The incident occurred on the 5th of last month.

Aminath Arif, founder of Salam School, was the most injured victim of the fire caused by burning diesel in the grill machine according to the Maldives National Defence Forces (MNDF). She had suffered 65% burn on her body, and was in a critical condition when she was taken to Switzerland.

An Indian man who was also burned in the incident died, on the 17th of last month.
