OZEN Bolifushi proprietor Hussain Shareef; he passed away amid treatment at IGMH on Sunday afternoon, July 14, 2024.
The owner of OZEN Reserve Bolifushi, Hussain Shareef (Bolifushi Shareef) has passed away on Sunday.
He passed away amid emergency treatment at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) around Sunday evening at 17:26hrs, the hospital confirmed. IGMH however did not specify the exact nature of his treatment.
Shareef is the majority shareholder of Gateway Maldives, founded and established in 1994. Bolifushi is a leased property under Gateway.
Besides Bolifushi, Shareef was involved in several other tourism ventures.
He is the elder sibling of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL)’s Managing Director Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed.
