Tree Top Hospital has concluded a successful two-day health camp in Gaafu Alifu atoll Vilingili.
A total of 317 patients from Vilingili and other islands of the atoll, including Kolamaafushi, Maamendhoo, Dhaandhoo, Kondey, Nilandhoo, Kanduhulhudhoo, and Gemanafushi, visited the two-day multi specialty health camp for consultations.
Tree Top Hospital hosted the camp with the aim of providing specialist consultations for the locals of Vilingili and neighboring islands, who face challenges traveling to Male' City due to the distance of financial constaints.

"This camp served a crucial purpose by offering much needed specialist consultations to residents who might otherwise struggle with accessibility or affordability. We are committed to working with Maldivian communities to raise awareness about preventive healthcare and the importance of early detection," said Dr. Sridhar.
The tertiary health service provider hosts similar multi-specialty health camps across the Maldives with the aim of providing accessibility for those who are challenged in traveling to the Maldives capital to seek medical treatment.
The multi-specialty camp in Vilingili was held from June 29th to 30th.
