Pres appoints ambassadors to 9 countries

Maldives President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu on Tuesday, appointed nine Ambassadors, High Commissioners and Permanent Representatives to nine foreign countries and international organizations.

President Muizzu appointed the following representatives;

  1. Mohamed Hussain Shareef - Ambassador to United Arab Emirates (UAE)
  2. Iruthisham Adam - High Commissioner to the United Kingdom (UK)
  3. Dr. Fazeel Najeeb - Ambassador to China
  4. Dr. Ali Nasseer Mohamed - Permanent Representative to United Nations (PMNY)
  5. Geela Ali - Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union (EU)
  6. Dr. Mariyam Shabeena Ahmed - High Commissioner to Malaysia
  7. Masood Imad - High Commissioner to Sri Lanka
  8. Dr. Salma Rasheed - Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Genera
  9. Mohamed Luveiz - High Commissioner to Singapore

At Tuesday's ceremony held at the President's Office, Dr. Muizzu presented the letter of appointment to the representatives.
