MDA Holhudhoo rally tonight will see a large number councillors and members joining the party: Amir

Maldives Development Alliance (MDA) Deputy Leader and Interim Spokesperson, Kudahuvadhoo MP Ahmed Amir has said today that a mass rally is scheduled to be held by MDA tonight in Noonu Holhudhoo, during which a large number of councillors and members will join the party.

Speaking to Sun today, Amir said that this rally will be the conclusion of the special trip currently undertaken by MDA to Noonu atoll to increase the party membership.

Amir said that the Noonu atoll trip has gained great support for MDA and that a record number of people have joined the party during the past week. The party is gaining new members each day, he said

Amir said that these travels, undertaken to increase party membership numbers, will continue without pause and that representatives of the party will travel from the northernmost to the southernmost atolls of the country.

“These travels will not come to a halt even when we reach 10,000. Our aim is to make this the party with the most number of members in the country. God willing, we will achieve this,” said Amir.

The rally in Noonu Holhudhoo tonight is scheduled to be broadcast live from a number TV channels and radio FM stations in the country.
