Villa College receives more than 700 applications

Villa College has announced that more than 700 students have been registered for the courses planned to begin next year.

Regarding the Registration Program which was held at the main office of Villa College located on Boduthakurufaanu Magu, Registration Manager Ahmed Shiyam said today that 75 percent are filled of the 215 vacancies for the Foundation Program, and 85 percent are filled of the 300 vacancies for the Bachelor’s Degree and Professional Programs.

He also said that 90 percent of the vacancies for Master’s Program are now filled.

For next year, Villa College has offered courses in seven areas for the Foundation Program, 11 areas for Bachelor’s Degree and four areas for Master’s Program.

Shiyam also said that those who previously could not register themselves due to technical problems will have the chance to do so from 27 to 29 December.

“Due to some problems, several students could not register themselves within the given time-frame. So they will be given the opportunity again soon,” Shiyam said.

Last month, Villa College held a special program to provide information for students who wish to go for higher studies.
