RAFY presents awards for women in four categories

Local non-governmental organization, Regional Alliance for Fostering Youth (RAFY) has presented awards for women in four categories.

Over 40 individuals were presented awards at a ceremony held on Thursday night, at the meeting hall in Dhimyaath Stay in Male’ City.

The ceremony also marked the sixth anniversary of RAFY and International Women’s Day. It also saw the presentation of certificates to graduates of the Women Hero Program.

The four categories in which awards were presented included Awesome Team Member Recognition Award, Women Hero Graduate Award, Women’s Leadership Award 2022 and Lecturer’s Award.

In this regard, Women Hero Graduate Award was received by 19 individuals; Women’s Leadership Award was received by 10 individuals and Lecturer’s Award was received by six individuals.

Special guest at last night’s ceremony was the Director of Human Recourses at Ooredoo Maldives Fazna Mansoor. The ceremony was also guested by RAFY’s President Dr. Aishath Rafiyya, vice president and board members.
