Vice President inaugurates “Manta Wings” programme

Vice President Faisal Naseem on Tuesday inaugurated the first batch of the “Manta Wings” apprentice programme by domestic airline Manta Air for 2021-2022.

During the ceremony, VP Naseem handed over letters of offer to the apprentices.

While addressing the gathering, he highlighted Manta’s various achievements. He also spoke on the global airline industry, stating that human resource development was necessary to cater to the growing needs of the industry.

Additionally, he urged industry stakeholders “to strive to uphold service standards and aim to garner the skills and knowledge needed to provide quality service”.

The programme, targeting individuals between the ages of 18 and 25, is designed to cater to the human resource development needs of the aviation sector. Under the Manta Wings programme, apprentices would complete six months of training in their dedicated fields.
