Colonel Mohamed Ibrahim appointed Defense Advisor to India

Colonel Mohamed Ibrahim has been appointed the Defense Advisor from Maldives to India. 

Colonel Mohamed Ibrahim was presented with his letter of appointment by Maldivian Chief of Defense Force Major General Abdulla Shamaal in a ceremony at the MNDF headquarters in Male’ last Wednesday. 

Colonel Mohamed Ibrahim has served in high-ranking positions within MNDF, including as Director-General of the Coastguard and Central Area Commander. 

He replaces Colonel Ahmed Thohir, whose term as Defense Advisor to India expired recently.
