President departs to F. and Dh. Atolls

President Dr Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik has departed today on an official trip to F. and Dh. Atolls.

Government Spokesperson Abbas Adil Riza said that the President first visited F. Nilandhoo, where he will spend the night tonight. He will depart to Dh. Atoll tomorrow.

In Dh. Atoll, he will first visit Bandidhoo, followed by Meedhoo.

He will visit all inhabited islands of Dh. Atoll before returning to Male’ on Sunday.

The President is accompanied by some Ministers, Meedhoo MP Ahmed Siyam and Kudahuvadhoo MP Ahmed Amir.

Abbas said that in addition to meeting Island Council members, the President will watch the Eid celebrations in the islands.
