Th. Kinbidhoo has been placed under monitoring mechanisms for the third time subsequent to a two-year-old who travelled from Male’ City with family for the Eid al-Adha holidays testing positive for COVID-19.

President of Kinbidhoo Council Ali Hussain confirmed to Sun that the island was put under monitoring mechanisms yesterday.

He also noted that the only people who have had direct contact with the child are solely the family. Hussain also detailed that the family traveled to Kinbidhoo from Male’ with a negative PCR test result.
