No confidence motion on President Waheed sent to Parliament

A motion of no confidence against President Dr Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik has been submitted to the Parliament.

The motion was submitted by Deputy Leader of Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) Parliamentary Group, Thoddoo MP Ali Waheed, and signed by 27 MPs of MDP.

MDP also submitted a no confidence motion against Home Minister Dr Mohamed Jameel Ahmed yesterday.
