Male' City council requests removal of vehicles in carnival area

Male’ city council has requested the owners of four-wheeled vehicles parked in the carnival area of the city to be removed to commence work on the planned parking zone in the area.

The vehicles are to be removed before April 8, 2020, at 18:00.

The council has plans to make parking zone for four-wheeled vehicles in the area and plans to issue 52 parking slots. Each slot is to cost MVR 3000 per month. Due dates for application lapsed in March.

Male’ city council had announced that it had constructed 11 parking zones for 80-400 vehicles.
