Vital registration service hours of Male' city council changed

Service hours of the Male’ city council’s vital registration section have been changed due to the ongoing situation with the Covid-19 virus in the Maldives.

In an announcement made yesterday, the council stated that the vital registration section would now provide the residential registration services and birth registration services would now be provided from 14:00 to 16:00.

Forms to renew birth certificates and for lost birth certificates can now be submitted via email.

The government of Maldives will remain closed until April 4, as a precautionary measure against the Covid-19 virus.

The council also changed the hours for issuing signboards to close roads for work at night.
