Redwave Saleem as PG leader of PPM

MP of B. Eydhafushi constituency Ahmed Saleem (Redwave Saleem) has been elected as the Parliament Group’s leader of the opposition party, Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM).

Saleem is one of the most experienced and senior members in the PG of PPM.

MP Saleem, who fills the role of Eydhafushi MP for a third sitting, was elected PG leader of PPM with the majority of PG members of the party.

In addition to MP Saleem, the PG group of PPM compromises of MP of LH. Naifaru, Ahmed Shiyam, MP of K. Guraidhoo, Ibrahim Riza, MP of Mahibadhoo constituency, Ahmed Thoriq and MP of TH. Guraidhoo constituency Ghassan Maumoon.
