Criminal court finds Algeen not guilty

The Criminal Court has today found former Director of the Department of Meteorology Abdullah Algeen not guilty of the corruption charges made against him by the State.

The State accused Algeen of corruption following money sent by a Japanese company for a government project being deposited into Algeen’s personal account when he was the Director of the Department of Meteorology.
