Issues highlighted in Home Ministry

President of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Hassan Luthfee has said that most issues highlighted in the Audit Report of Ministry of Home Affairs for 2010 will be investigated by the ACC.

Luthfee noted that the Report contained several areas of concern, and informed that the report will be presented at the ACC meeting tomorrow.

He added that some of the issues highlighted in the Report are currently already under investigation by the ACC.

The Audit Report of Ministry of Home Affairs for 2010, which was published last Monday, contained details of issues such as the dishonest utilisation of State funds by several State Ministers, award of projects in violation of rules and regulations, and unnecessary expenses made in excessive amounts.
