Service prices under Aasandha announced

As private clinics commence services under Aasandha scheme, the prices of services under the scheme have been announced.

Managing Director of Aasandha Company Mohamed Shafaz said today that all private clinics were welcome to participate in Aasandha scheme at uniform prices.

While eight clinics in Male’ had agreed to participate in Aasandha, four have commenced providing services under Aasandha.

“This is the price list for private clinics to charge for their services under Aasandha. We are investigating why some clinics have not commenced services at Aasandha prices. Some clinics faced technical issues when they first started. The doctors also have to be trained before Aasandha can commence,” Shafaz said.

According to the price list published on the Aasandha Company website, the prices of anaesthesia services range from MVR100 to MVR950; dental services range from MVR5 to MVR600; medical consumables range from MVR1 to MVR100; laboratory investigations range from MVR10 to MVR500; CT scans range from MVR200 to MVR1200; MRI services range from MVR1600 to MVR3000; USG services range from MVR180 to MVR400; X-ray services range from MVR50 to MVR500; surgeries and operations (ear/nose/throat) range from MVR25 and MVR2,700; and surgeries and operations (general) range from MVR15 to MVR5,000.

ADK, ASL Medical Centre, Central Clinic, MNDF Medical, and Eye Care have commenced services under Aasandha.
