Indian ambassador meets winners of ICCR’s scholarships

The Indian Ambassador to Maldives, Akhilesh Mishra has met with the winners of the scholarships awarded to Maldivian students by the Indian Center for Cultural Relations (ICCR).

Six Maldivian students have been awarded scholarships by ICCR in this latest round.

ICCR awards 39 fully-funded scholarships from India for Maldivian students each year. The courses offered include undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses, Masters of Philosophy courses and PhD courses.

The six students selected for the latest round of scholarships will study from University of Rajasthan and University of Mysore.

The Indian Ambassador, Mishra met with the six students and imparted words of wisdom with them. He encouraged them to contribute to the development of the Maldives after they complete their studies.
