Rasrani Winter Park to open on Eid

Minister of Housing and Infrastructure, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has said that preparations are being made to open the Winter Park developed at Rasrani Bageecha on Eid. 

Funded by the CSR branch of tourism sector, the development of the Winter Park began on 15 March and the Housing Minister has previously stated that the park could be opened before this ongoing month of Ramadan. 

But at the Housing Minister tweeted tonight saying that the latest preparations are being made open the Winter Park this Eid al-Fitr. 

The Minister has previously said that the opening of the Winter Park was being delayed because they want to built it to perfection so there won't be constant issues in maintaining the temperature. And said that at the uniquely developed park, visitors can experience the falling snow and would have an ice ring. 

The Sultan Park, deeply rooted in Maldivian history, went under major renovations and was renamed and reopened as Rasrani Bageecha last August.
