Higher Secondary student tested positive for narcotics

A student at the Centre for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has been tested positive for narcotic abuse.

The Police said that that a 19-year old young man was arrested while he was on a boat going to Sh. Komandoo from Malé, and when his urine was tested, he was found to have abused substance. Information from another source to Sun has confirmed that the young man is a student of CHSE.

The young man was arrested on the basis of a report to the Police, and it was suspected that he was carrying narcotics. However, a person speaking from Komandoo said that the police could not find any drugs with him, although upon examination, he was found to have abused it.

In 2010, a student of CHSE was involved in a road accident, following which the Police searched his motorbike to find illegal drugs in its seat drawer.
