2nd Majlis session scheduled for Monday

The second sitting of the first session of the People’s Majlis for the year 2018 has been scheduled for Monday.

The Majlis Secretariat announced Monday’s sitting will begin at 9 am.

The agenda for Monday’s sitting includes making a decision on sending President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom’s nomination for National Integrity Commission to the committee for evaluation.

And making a decision on sending President Yameen’s nomination for Ambassador to Japan, Ibrahim Uwais’ name to the committee for evaluation.

President Yameen delivered his presidential address to the people at the first sitting of the year, held last Wednesday at Dharubaaruge.
