Former President Maumoon has met his children in Dhoonidhoo, except Ghassan

All the children of the former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, currently in police custody at Dhoonidhoo, has met him aside from Ghassan Maumoon.

Abdul Aleem, a close person to President Maumoon, told Sun Media that Dunya Maumoon, Yumna Maumoon and Faaris Maumoon were present at the meeting at Dhoonidhoo today from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

While President Maumoon is detained at Dhoonidhoo, his daughter, Yumna Maumoon and her husband, Mohamed Nadheem, are also detained in DHoonidhoo.

At a press conference held by the Maldives Police Service today, the Acting Commissioner, Abdulla Navaz said that they have acquired evidence of the former President Maumoon working judges to overthrow the government.

Former President Maumoon was arrested yesterday on the charge of conspiracy to overthrow the government and bribing MPs.
