Shameem's suspension lifted after two years

Two years after being suspended from practicing in court as a lawyer, the suspension has been lifter for the former Deputy Prosecutor General, Hussain Shameem.

Department of Judicial Administration (DJA) suspended Shameem on 4 November 2015.

He was suspended following his comments on the Judicial System at a press conference while representing the former Vice President Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Gafoor.

The DJA announced that Shameem's suspended has been lifted in a statement tonight stating that it was done so after an investigation.
