Strong reply from the President for critics of government loans

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has given a strong response to the criticism aimed at the government for taking numerous loans.

Speaking at the Youth Awards Ceremony commemorating the Youth Day, the President said that without taking loans, we'll just have to be as we are without and development or progress.

The President said that loans have to be acquired to improve the quality of service provided to the public and said that without the loans, the major development projects won't be moving forward.

President Yameen said that risks are required to be successful.
