A diving school at A. A. Rasdhoo has burned to the ground in a fire.
Fire spread at the diving school “Rasdhoo Scuba” in the early hours of this Wednesday. MNDF reports the fire was reported to the authority at approximately 2:50 am.
MNDF said the firefighters immediately responded to the call, and were able to contain the fire at 3:35 am.
The authority reported most of the 50-foot x 50-foot diving school was made of wood.
The fire burned the building beyond use. Details of the extent of damage is unclear at this point.
