Party drug shipment to Addu intercepted by Customs

A shipment of ecstasy pills – a party drug – sent to Addu City from Netherlands – has been intercepted by Maldives Customs.

Maldives Customs reports the parcel of drugs was tested at the presence of the owner. The authority said it tested positive for ecstasy.

The parcel had 503 pills in five designs. The drugs weighed 244.60 grams, reports Customs.

The owner of the parcel has been jailed for investigation.
