Helicopter join the search for the missing man from Maduvvari

MNDF helicopter has joined the search and rescue effort to find the missing elderly man from Meemu atoll Maduvvari. He was last seen going swimming.

The 60-year-old man was last seen yesterday morning around 7:30 a.m. in a sand massage according to MNDF.

Information Officer of MNDF, Captain Ibrahim Azim said that their helicopter "Kurangi" joined the search this morning. And Coastguard vessels with divers are continuing the search via sea.

As the search continues, the missing man's clothes were found yesterday on the west side of the island by a member of his family according to MNDF.
